"Dreams": Greg Santos
That's right. You read perfectly. I'm listening to one of the songs I wrote four years ago. The other day I got the idea to make a "Best of..." tape of the best songs that I've written. After a few days of listening to lots of my old tapes and trying to think about which songs are my favourite... it has finally been accomplished. the result is "The Best of Greg Santos 1997-2001". Not neccesarily the best recording every made but fun to listen to. I think it's really cool to compare my newest songs to my first few. It's also fun to think about all the different things that were going on in my life that reflects in my music. For example I have a "ballad-love" period, then a "comedy" period, and a "dark" period, etc. Great stuff to be nostalgic to.
I've been hanging out with my friends a lot recently which has been great. I miss seeing alot of my Montreal friends when I'm at school at Mount Allison. I don't think I have time to see everyone I want to see. There's just so many people :)
My family decided not to buy a Christmas tree since it's a lot of work and I think we're all a little sad from the death of my grandmother. However, I've bought myself a little tinsel tree for my room. It's really cool and blue, and sparkly :) I figured I might as well since it's going to be the first Christmas in my life that I haven't had a tree. It makes me feel more at home with at least one.
