Halloween will soon be upon us and I wanted to find some creepy poems online and stumbled upon "All Souls" by Michael Collier. What's going on in this poem? We're at a costume party, and Hillary Clinton, Dracula, Oprah Winfrey, etc. watch a raccoon outside the window, creeping about the party's debris. As the party kicks it up a notch, the Halloween revelers become something animal-like, with "intricate paws" and a "filleting tongue." And besides, what's creepier than having to make small talk in a room filled with the likes of Hillary Clinton, Leon Trotsky, Dracula, and Oprah Winfrey?
