Poetry Face-Off

CBC's Poetry Face-Off is still running. The radio show started this past Monday April 3rd and will go until Friday April 7th. This means you still have time to vote. Tune into the show on Radio One at 11:30 (12 NT). The host is Bill Richardson. Online voting takes place at www.cbc.ca/poetryfaceoff and will continue until Tuesday April 11th at Midnight. The winner will be announced on Monday April 17th at 11:00 (11:30 NT) on Sounds Like Canada.

I believe there are two shows left. Tomorrow's will feature the winners from Halifax, Calgary, and Ottawa. Friday's show will wrap up with the winners from Dawson City, Montreal (Dave McGimpsey!), and Toronto.

I've already voted, now make sure you do your part to ensure your favourite poet wins. You can also listen to excerpts and interviews with the poets on the official website.
