Montreal poet, Erin Mouré is going to be visiting my advanced poetry class this Tuesday and I'm looking forward to hearing her speak about her writing techniques and her views on translation/"transelation".
Her most recent work, Little Theatres was shortlisted for the Governor General's award for poetry. If you're interested you can read an essay she wrote about translating (and in a way collaborating with) the great Portuguese poet, Fernando Pessoa from the site: Poetics.ca
