Holy Harmonious Honks Batman!
Another beautiful day in Sackville, New Brunswick. It's 11 in the morning and I just finished listening to the train whistle, like clockwork. You can hear the train going by everyday at 11am, 9pm, and 11pm. At first it's a little intrusive at night but after a while you learn to accept it as just another sound in Sackville and it becomes extremely comforting like the sound of warblers and sparrows singing. In fact, yesterday as part of the Festival by the Marsh they had the "Honk Symphony" at the VIA Rail Station. You can read about it here: Honk Symphony.
Hmmm, a symphony made up of train whistles and honking car horns? Only in Sackville my friends, only in Sackville.
We had two great outdoor runs of A Midsummer Night's Dream yesterday and today we only have one matinee show this afternoon. Maryn's mother is coming into town today so it'll be nice to take a break from the show - we're not performing again until Wednesday of next week and I think tomorrow we're going to be heading over to Moncton which should be nice and relaxing.
I've been taking pictures around town and of the show so those are going to be posted soon. Stay safe Sackville, stay marvelous Montreal.
