The lull of cold weather has ended and we have entered the Winter Apocalypse. Welcome to flavour country kids...

It's gotten cold again in good ole Sackville and there are plenty of bundled up people staggering about outside, getting thrashed about by a pretty nasty wind. I'm glad my classes are over and I don't think I'll be venturing outside too much for the rest of the day.

Can you believe it's already Wednesday? It feels like this week has only just started. On the plus side, the weekend is coming up soon. No plans at the moment but I'm sure I'll find something fun to do.

I can't think of anything else to say so I'll leave you with a few poems I've written over the past little while. Ciao.

My statues of Buddha and Jesus
Side by side
What conversations they must have.

Fat snowflakes
Jolly and heavy
Gather in groups
Mingling on concrete

God Works In Mysterious Ways

I've heard it said many times.
Mostly when circumstances make no sense.
When we don't get "IT".
When things go wrong.
When it can't be explained.
When things are going just as planned.
When it's all a big coincidence.

God works in mysterious ways.

As if it's all one big, unfolding plan.
What if it was just a mistake?
God looked away for a second.
God sneezed.
God had an itch.
God had a lapse of judgment.
God had something in his eye.
Whatever the case -

-God can never bring back
My ice cream lying helpless
On the hot cement.
