"Blackbird": The Beatles

Good afternoon Moondoggy-ites. It's deceptively nice outside, however I know better than to step foot outdoors. Today is a study day since it's a school night but I don't have that much more to read. Yesterday we had our house party and it went relatively smoothly. Maryn and I had fun, and we actually braved the cold weather to go to the liquor store for some wine, etc. But we stayed in for most of the evening's festivities.

Maryn, and I mostly spent our time with her friend Jen, and her boyfriend J.V. There was lots of music, lots of dancing, and lots of drunk, boys and girls stumbling about the hallways. I'm happy I locked my door and took off my message board because who knows what could have been stolen, written, slept, and gotten sick on :)

We were introduced to lots of new people. We met two foreign students. Ali, and Zichan (I'm not sure how to spell his name so I'm trying to write it phonetically) and we talked for a while trying to understand each other's cultural differences. Ali's from Pakistan, and Z is from Bangladesh. So all in all, it was a pretty memorable night.
