Howdy folks. Here I am at the Academy of Design and technology doing a little research for some projects and I thought I'd take a little break to say hello to all the Moondoggy readers out there.

I had a very fun weekend and saw some pretty good movies. On Friday night I went out with Ryan and his friend Mike to see Russell Crowe's latest "Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World". It wasn't a bad movie, just not great.

Yesterday Ryan, Josh and I watched a good ole fashioned hockey game on tv which took place on the new outdoor hocky rink in Edmonton, Alberta and it was the Megastars game between the Montreal Canadiens and the Edmonton Oilers. It was great to see Wayne Gretzky, Guy Lafleur, Larry Robinson, and all the greats on the ice. Unfortunately for us Habs fans, we lost the game 2-0. However, the Habs got their revenge in the real season game that took place afterwards when the Canadiens won 4-3 so I guess it all works out in the end.

Later that evening we were in the christmas spirit and we went to see "Elf" and ladies and gentlemen, I REALLY recommend you see that movie. Now I'm a stickler for kids movies but believe me, this one was really funny. Not just giggle here and there funny, laugh out loud till you pee your pants funny. Will Ferrell is hilarious!

That's about all for now, I have to get back to work. Until next time.
