Hello Moondoggy readers. I've been at school since 8:00 this morning and now it's 3:40. I'm taking a break from my project I'm working on to say a little hello.

I had an awesome weekend with Maryn! She arrived Thursday evening at around 12:30 am, (she was supposed to arrive around 10:30 pm but they had lots of delays). I couldn't believe I had to go to school the next day but I was a trooper and went to class.

After feeling antsy the whole class, I was finally let out and Maryn and I met for lunch at the vegetarian restaurant "La Commensal" and we had a great buffet lunch. We did some window shopping and walked around the city. It was fun just to spend time together - it had been a while :)

We ended up seeing "Lost In Translation" starring Bill Murray and we both really enjoyed it. It was Maryn's first time seeing it and it was my second but I loved it so much that I had to see it again.

When we got back home, my mom made us a great supper and then we relaxed until it was time to meet Josh, Ryan, Eva, and her friend Laura. We went to an improv comedy show at the AMC which was surprisingly very funny, and it wasn't too expensive either.

After the show we rushed to McKibbin's Irish Pub (it was freeeeeeeezing outside!) and we sat around a table and talked for the rest of the night-well some of us did. The music was really loud so conversations were hard to keep track of.

Saturday was great because we got to sleep in and have a nice brunch before heading out to downtown Montreal to see some used book stores, and to do some more browsing through stores. We made reservations at Kaizen, the top Suchi place in Montreal for 6:45 pm. I hadn't been there in a while and Maryn had never eaten at a Japanese restaurant so we figured we'd go there for some good Japanese food.

We ordered vegetable tempura, homemade vegetable dumplings, Maryn tried veggie-sushi, and I had a soba noddle soup with shrimp tempura. Mmm... just thinking about that night makes me hungry. We also ordered a medium sized bottle of saké. The meal was delicious.

At night we continued the Bill Murray marathon by watching "Scrooged" starring Bill Murray. I forgot how bizarre that movie was but it sure was funny.

On our last day together before Maryn left to go back to Mount Allison, we had a lunch at my house with my mother, and my grandparents. My grandmother made her AMAZING homemade pizza, and my mom outdid herself again watercress soup, roasted vegetables (asparagus, eggplants, etc), and spinach and cheese stuffed manicotti. All our tummys were very, very happy.

Maryn and I went to Mount Royal and had a very relaxing walk. We bought some nuts to give to the little squirrels, and we got to see lots of cute kids, and dogs walking around. The mountain has a very calming effect on people.

Then we had to say goodbye :( We drove Maryn to the Windsor station and then she left on her bus at 6:30. We were both a little sad but not too sad because we already know when we're going to be seeing each other again - DECEMBER 26TH 2003!!!!

Well that was a little recap of my weekend. I've got to get back to work now. Have a great day.
