I watched "Darkness Falls" yesterday on DVD and although it was an interesting film it was nowhere near as good as "The Others" or "The Sixth Sense" and to a lesser extent "The Ring". It did have it's share of creepy moments but it was still a campy horror flick.
I did some house cleaning today, bringing down the couch for the front porch from the attic as well as some chairs so that we can enjoy the summer weather. I was also able to bring some books that were taking up too much space in my room. It feels good to have all of that done.
I spent the afternoon hiking up Mount Royal and exploring hidden trails on the mountain. Now all I have to do is find those hard to find waterfalls and I'm all set... It was very relaxing to just read, and enjoy nature without having to worry about the hustle and bustle of the city. I'm just glad that I live so close to the mountain so that I can just take walks up there anytime I want.
