"Fever Dog": Stillwater
Another beautiful day in my neighborhood... I just got back from a nice walk on Mont Royal. Not the mountain though, the street. There are a lot of great stores and restaurants in that area. I'm also looking forward to seeing St. Laurent and St. Denis in the near future. I had brunch with my family - I had a french crepe filled with pears and goat cheese. YUM! I was in heaven. I also ended up buying some cheapstraw mats to relax on if I want to go up to the mountain or if I just want to relax and read a good book on my balcony.
Yesterday Ryan, Josh and I kicked off the summer by going to see "X-2: X-Men United" at the Paramount theatre. Not only was this movie bigger but I have to say it was better than the first film. I was a huge fan of the original comic book franchise and this movie didnt disappoint. I particularly enjoyed the little cameos from the other X-Men characters who weren't as central to the storyline and I was also impressed at the way they were able to weave various storylines from the comic book series into the movie.
Now all that's missing is a Spiderman cameo in the next movie and then I would be an extremely happy man. Have a good weekend everyone!
