Bonjour tout le monde! I have moved to Paris, France with my wife and infant daughter for the year. While my wife does research for her doctoral thesis, I will be living the life of a writer in Paris. Eeeeee! I am eagerly anticipating the release of my first full-length poetry collection, The Emperor's Sofa, and will continue to provide updates and information about the book when I am able.
Inspired by David Lehman's experiment where he began writing a poem a day for a year and later collected "the best" of these poems in his book, The Daily Mirror, I'm going to attempt to write a poem a day (give or take a few days, I foresee...) for the duration of my stay in Paris. I'll be posting them right here on this blog for your reading pleasure.
