Shortlisted for the Eyewear Poetry Prize

Good news, peeps! A poem I wrote and entered in honour of the 5th birthday of the British based-blogzine, Eyewear, has been shortlisted for the Eyewear Poetry Prize, 2010.

Please check out the announcement here.

Eyewear was founded in June 2005 by Todd Swift and it regularly focuses on poetry, politics, and pop culture. The blog is being archived by The British Library.

The Eyewear Poetry Prize winners will be announced and their work will published on the site in early October.

The five shortlisted poets are: Bethan Tichborne, Greg Santos, Angela Readman, Kate Noakes, and Alan Baban.

Best of luck to the other shortlisted poets. But keep your fingers crossed for me, y'all!
