Wednesday Roundup of Stuff

1) My poem "Siemreap, Cambodia", recently published in Cha, was mentioned on Gillian Sze's blog where she compared it to Margaret Atwood's "This is a Photograph of Me". Cool. Thanks, Gillian.

2) Gillian Sze and Robertsu are collaborating on a slick new quarterly online journal called Branch Magazine. The inaugural issue will be out in the first week of April. I'm honored to have a new poem of mine included in the first issue. Stay tuned for the launch, friendos.

Please check out the Branch website for more info. They also have a blog here.

3) Caketrain has released a spooky promo vid for Ben Mirov's upcoming book, Ghost Machine. Enjoy:

4) Have you checked out pax americana 13, guest-edited by Jessica Dessner yet? It's what all the cool kids are reading. You want to be cool, don't you?

5) The newest edition of This Zine Will Change Your Life is online. You will take a trip to a turkish bath, thanks to Julian Baker. You will feel both pleasant and awkward at the same time. Check it out here.

6) Speaking of trips, how about making your way to Norway? Please read Oslonians, a short story by Giles Ruffer. It is brought to you by the fine folks at Pangur Ban Party.

Coolly yours,

G
