I recently posted a news tibdit about a group calling itself the Queen's English Society who have ridiculously decided that all poetry must rhyme to be considered poetry.

In a recent piece in Slate, Robert Pinksy (former Poet Laureate of the United States and frequent guest on shows like The Simpsons and The Colbert Report) seems to be responding to the QES, and does so with both grace and humor.
