Todd Swift and Jason Camlot have edited a feature of 27 Anglo-Quebec Poets for the latest issue of Australian-based Jacket Magazine. It's great to see the varied writing styles coming out of Quebec's rich poetry scene in one place.
The selections are by no means exhaustive but for those of you who are unfamiliar with the exciting poetry coming out of Quebec, then this feature is a must-read.
The selection of poetry includes work by Leonard Cohen, Erin Moure, Carmine Starnino, Mary Di Michele, David Solway, Angela Carr, David McGimpsey, Stephanie Bolster, and many more.
There are also examples of pieces by great and influential poets who recently passed away, like Robert Allen, Ruth Taylor, and artie gold.
