This headline was a shocker. I had been reading excerpts from Mailer's most recent book, On God, and was seriously considering picking it up but I already have so many books to finish, I wanted to get through them first. Now that Mailer's passed on, I wonder, what will happen to "Mailerism"? Will his musings on God be any more or less relevant now?
