Man accused of assaulting Wiesel is denied bail

I don't know why I didn't see this shocking story on the news but yesterday a classmate of mine told me that Elie Wiesel, renowned author and Holocaust scholar, had recently been roughed up at a San Fransisco hotel earlier this month. The man who assaulted Wiesel apparently wanted to force Wiesel to admit that Night, an account of Wiesel's time at a Nazi concentration camp, was fiction.
