The popularity of YouTube and other video sharing websites have prompted writers to join the fray. The website Meet the Author gives writers 90 seconds to advertise their books on the net. Some of the videos are pretty flat but others are actually quite interesting, especially those by authors who seem to be speaking into the camera unrehearsed.
