Happy New Year! I'm recovering from a fun-filled weekend with friends and an annoying cold I must have caught sometime during the week.

Cold or no cold, I thought I'd start the new year by introducing LibraryThing, an addictive web application for storing and sharing personal library catalogs and book lists. It's being hyped as "MySpace for books" or "Facebook for books."

Listing my complete personal library would take up way too much time so I've decided to make it about books I've acquired in 2006-2007. For your enjoyment, then, I've added a LibraryThing widget on this blog to show you random books I've added to my collection. I warn you, though, if you start one of these and you're a raging bibliophile like I am, you won't be able to stop.
