Poke-O-Moonshine Mountain

This past weekend I went camping with friends to Ausable Chasm, NY. To be honest, I've NEVER gone camping before so I wasn't sure what to expect and the weather forecast was a bit sketchy but we ended up having a great time and mother nature behaved herself.

Enjoyed a fun game of ultimate frisbee, roasted marshmallows, played guitar under the stars; good times had by all. One thing I found funny about cooking outdoors is that we cleaned our kitchen utensils with dirt and water. Normally, if we were in the city I'm sure most folks would balk at the idea of "cleaning" with dirt. Seems like a bit of an oxymoron, doesn't it?

The next day we ended the trip with an invigorating hike to the oddly named Poke-O-Moonshine Mountain which has a spectacular view of Vermont, the Adirondacks, Lake Champlain, and even Canada. Props go out to Josh for planning the awesome trip.
