"He doesn't have rabies but he does have a blog..."
"Rejected children's book titles" is online at Feathertale.
So, I'm back from a rainy yet memorable road-trip to Burlington and Cape Cod. In Burlington, we stayed at a hostel that has been run by the same sweet woman for almost thirty years, hung out at Nectar's (Phish's old stompin' ground), took the Ben & Jerry's Factory Tour, I bought myself a brand new acoustic guitar and a copy of Frank O' Hara's Lunch Poems.
It rained the whole time we were in Cape Cod but we managed to have a great time anyway. We were joined by a fellow hosteler from Germany and explored the always entertaining Provincetown where we caught the hilarious and bizarre, Dina Martina. I can't explain the show; you just have to have been there.
But now the weekend is over and it's back to reality and unfortunately more rain. Let's hope the June showers let up soon; Montreal summers are too short as it is.
Also, a big shout out goes to Spain's Fernando Alonso for the big win at Montreal's Grand Prix this past weekend.
