Listening to The Yeah Yeah Yeah Song: The Flaming Lips

The magnolia tree in the house in front of mine is blooming, I saw the first big blockbuster of the season (Mission Impossible 3) and I'm feeling great. The summer is upon us!

There are number of movies opening over the next few months that have piqued my interest: Nacho Libre, X-Men 3: The Last Stand, The DaVinci Code, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest, Lady in the Water, and Superman Returns. The super hero films look good but unfortunately the one I'm dying to see won't be in theatres until 2008: Spider-Man 3.

Also, the Montreal Jazz Fest will soon be here as well from June 29 to July 9th. The lineup is certainly impressive: Paul Simon, B.B. King, Tony Bennett, Elvis Costello, Daniel Lanois, Ani Difranco and Martha Wainwright, to name just a few of the many talented performers visiting notre belle province.
