Let us all rejoice: 'The Simpsons' movie has been confirmed

While The Simpsons may have lost much of its steam over the past few years, no one can doubt how much of a pop-culture phenomenon it's become. The longest-running American prime time comedy series is set to be made into a movie for the summer of 2007. It can be argued that the best Simpsons episodes are now behind them but I for one am looking forward to seeing Homer and the rest of the gang on the big screen. The thought of seeing Homer in his underwear on the big screen, though, is a highly disturbing image to be left with.
