Way to go Davey!

A big congrats goes out to Dave McGimpsey for winning the Montreal portion of the CBC Poetry Face-Off, therefore advancing to the finals where he will take on 13 other poets from around Canada.

The final round of the competition will air on CBC Radio One during National Poetry Month in April. Listeners across the country will have a chance to hear all of the 14 finalists and can then vote for their favourite performance by calling a toll-free telephone number or logging onto CBC's website's poll. The grand champion will be announced a week after the poll closes.
