I wanted to send a thank you to Laura Roberts (Black Heart's Editor-In-Chief) for the shout out she gave me on her website regarding my set at the CASE Open Mic. I have to agree with her, this last Open Mic had very few "Poetry Voice" readers and it was a really kick-ass evening. Plus I got free beer, what more can one ask for?

Anyway, CASE may be done for the winter semester but I picked up some flyers for a new spoken word series taking place at Pub Bishop. It's brand spankin' new and it looks like something fun to check out on a quiet Sunday evening:
