I've been invited to read at the launch party for the 8th issue of stationaery next Friday. It should be a really great time. It's taking place on Friday, November 18th 2005 at 9pm.
At 3643 St. Laurent, 4th floor (Above what used to be Le Swimming).

The launch will be a Beat Poetry Slam (so obviously mandatory turtleneck). Expect bongos, standup bass & jazz. Performances will include The Red Wool Sweaters (also wearing black turtlenecks of course). Readers will include famous and rather unknown poets alike. Oh and best of all; it's free!

Their call for submissions is still on and the theme is 'sensory deprivation' so if you have something you'd like to share then please send them your poems, prose, rants, art... whatever!

The deadline is coming up very quickly: Midnight November 13th. I talked to Ilya today and he said that you might still be able to get some stuff last minute so give it a shot. Do it. Maybe you'll be famous.
