Gweg is sweepy

I want to wish everyone a happy labour day weekend. I'm going to try to relax as much as possible because the new school semester is starting on Tuesday. Not only that but grad school applications are looming over the horizon so I'm going to need all the rest I can get before jumping head first into the cold waters of academia.

If you happen to be in the mood to catch a great family movie over the holiday, I'd really recommend March of the Penguins (La Marche de l'Empereur).

This film follows the life cycle of a flock of emperor penguins and you will be amazed by the spectacle of their bizarre, beautiful, and heartbreaking lives.

I recommend you see the English version because you are treated to narration by the great Morgan Freeman and no talking animals unlike the original French version which apparently includes scenes where the penguins actually speak. I don't mind that in Disney films but I would probably find it rather annoying in a documentary.
