Some books I've finished this summer (in no particular order)
In the Skin of a Lion -- Michael Ondaatje
Coming Through Slaughter -- Michael Ondaatje
Rat Jelly -- Michael Ondaatje (hmm, see a pattern here?)
The Iron Man -- Ted Hughes
Certifiable -- David McGimpsey
The Hermit of Gully Lake -- Joan Baxter
Rue du Regard -- Todd Swift
Millwood Road Poems -- Douglas Lochhead
The Mad Trapper -- Helena Katz
Asthmatica -- Jon Paul Fiorentino
I'm looking at my calendar and I can't believe the summer is coming to an end. I'll be going back home in four days and the school year will be starting again in two weeks time.
I am a little sad about leaving Sackville because I've been getting so comfortable in the apartment here with Maryn. But we were able to do a year apart with her in France so I think ole Greggy boy is going to do just fine.
I have to admit I am excited about seeing my friends & family and I'm also really anxious to start the fall semester.
Ima comin hooome Montreal!
