Hi everyone, just a note to say I'm alive and well. On Sunday I found out that my summer classes don't start until tomorrow so I had two extra days off.

I ended up renting the final episodes of the first season of HBO's Carnivale. Since I don't get HBO, I've been renting the series and have been totally immersed into the storyline. It's hard to describe the show but I'll try. It takes place during the dust bowl era and we follow the story of a traveling carnival. There are lots of interesting characters and there's a good mix of drama and the supernatural. Unfortunately, now that I'm done the first season I'm going to have to wait for the second season to come out on DVD's. I don't think I can wait that long. I need a Carnivale fix!
