Good afternoon everyone. I hope everyone is having a wonderful day. My classes are done and I am enjoying my weekend so far. I went to the library to find some books by the Lebanese writer, poet, artist Khalil Gibran. I didn't know much about him but I did some research on him today and read some examples of his poetry and verse. I found his writing very touching and profound, and I thought it would do me some good to read some more of his stuff in book form rather than from my computer screen.

I also went to Jacob's Larder and bought two tickets for Maryn, and I for the Chinese New Year Celebration which will be taking place tonight. I was also able to get my hands on some jasmine tea, glutinous rice crackers, and some almonds. YUM.
