"Way I Am": Martin Sexton
Yesterday I had Father's Day lunch with my family. It was delicious as usual. In the afternoon I went to the Tam-Tam's on the mountain with Josh, his brother Daniel, and some of Dan's friends. We relaxed, and listened to music. It was a very chill afternoon.
Josh and I later split up from the group and went to the Orange Julep for some drinks and food. It then started to get pretty cold. We felt so sorry for the rollerblade waitresses (they're outfits were pretty skimpy so they must have been really cold in shorts and tanks tops).
To finish off the evening we rented "On The Waterfront" starring Marlon Brando and "Life As a House". We watched "On The Waterfront" and Brando wowed us with another spectacular performance. I forgot how good an actor he was. It goes to show you that you don't need expensive special effects to make a movie but you do need good acting and a good script.
I woke up at 7:30 this morning to volunteer at the Fringe Festival and be part of the morning beer tent shift-and no I wasn't serving beer to people that early in the day. I had to guard the place, keep it clean, set up the tent, etc. My shift went by quickly and soon enough I was done. At 12:00 I picked up my Fringe t-shirt and Fringe bucks(to get into shows) and made my way home.
