Israeli gesture sets stage for summit

It seems that the world is holding it's breath for tomorrow's peace summit that will take place in the Jordanian resort of Aqaba. I am interested in seeing how this "Road Map to Peace" plays out and I hope that both Israel and the Palestinian government are finally able to put their differences aside.
Israel seems to have taken the first step by releasing 100 Palestinian prisoners in a gesture of goodwill. If the Palestinian government is able to control terrorist groups from launching attacks, delaying the peace process and both governments stick to their promises perhaps a peaceful Middle East in the future will no longer be a dream.
I hope this convinces people that the war and violence that has crippled the Middle East has gone on for too long and that both side are now willing to move forward.
