"If I Were A Rich Man": Fiddler on the Roof
Sackville is very cold and very wet. I haven't been able to be on my computer for most of the day. The power went out here in Sackville right before noon this morning and it didn't come on until about 7:30 this evening. Lunch and supper was served on paper plates but they has hot dogs for supper and since we don't get them here very often, I was quite happy. The good thing about not having electricity is that I didn't have too many distractions to worry about when I had work to do. Anyhoo, so rehearsal went well at 12:00 even though we didn't have lights on, there was enough light outside to be able to see. The weather though has been terrible, with freezing rain and snow, blah, blah, blah!
Saturday I saw "Fiddler on the Roof" with Maryn and Jen and we had a really good time. I've never seen the show however I know the music so it was nice to put the songs together with the actions on stage. It was a very good production of the show.
Since there was no electricity Craig, Matt, and I ended up playing Monopoly and very intense game of Uno. T'was tons of fun since I don't get to play those kinds of games very often. I still have to learn to shuffle though :-p
It was a funny sight to see Maryn, Matt, and I sitting in the hallway reading though. Now the electricity is back on and we're keeping our fingers crossed to make sure that it doesn't go out again - however if by having the electricity go out mean that we don't have classes tomorrow then I'm all for it. I'm probably going to be going to sleep early tonight because I have a stage combat workshop to go to tomorrow at 8:00 in the morning. It's going to take a miracle to wwake me up...
Goodnight!
