"Get In Line": Bare Naked Ladies
Went for an eye check up today. I now realize how blind I really am without my contacts or glasses. It's very depressing if you ask me. On a brighter note, I'm getting new contacts which means I'm going to be able to see even clearer than before. Yay! What frightens me is what my eye sight is going to be like in the far future. But I'm young, and I know everything and I'm invincible so I don't have to worry about silly things like that, right?
On an entirely different topic, has anyone else noticed how freaky the weather has been lately? It's almost the end of April and we had a huge blizzard of a snow storm yesterday. Now having snow in April is not that add because it's happened before but when the temperature goes up to 28 degrees and everyone's in t-shirts and then everyone's wearing their winter jackets a few weeks later... something's not right.
They're saying that this year has been the hottest it's been in a thousands years, and that is covering a lot of ground. Image five years from now if the weather continues to go up. Image ten years, twenty years and so on. By the time I'm fifty, kids will scoff at the idea of "natural" trees and that the earth once consisted of 80% water. Scary stuff.
I'm working on a story right now about what if a global nuclear war occurred as a result of the September 11th attacks on the World Trade Center. I'm going to get back to work so have a good evening everyone and remember keep dreaming and don't trust anyone over twenty. When I turn twenty-one don't even think about listening to anything I say because it'll all be lies. Goodnight.
