"Concerning Hobbits": Lord of the Rings Soundtrack
Hey all. Well the play is over. Saturday was our best performance. I am so glad though that we had Mark Holiday in our audience because his laughter just causes everyone else to laugh with him. Not only that but he gets most of the humour that other people don't but since laughter is contagious... HUZZAH FOR THE SHOPKEEP!!!
It was kind of sad that we would never be going out there again to perform "Village Wooing" but it was also a relief to be free from stress. Overall we had a great audience for all three shows which was a pleasant surprise since Thursday is usually a dead night. However once again Saturday was great and we blew the roof off of the place.
However, I haven't had much time to relax. I have a bunch of essays that I have to finish so it's back to stress but a different type of stress.
Sunday afternoon I went to the second annual Sackville Movie Project. This time it was headed by Chris Meier. He won the award for best picture lasy year and was passed the torch to continue the SMP's legacy by Alec Mathewson. He did an awesome job and I have to say there were about three movies that really entertained and impressed me. The zombie movie parody that payed homage to the cinematic genius that is Sam Raimi (Starring Chris as Bruce Cambell, famed zombie hunter. As well as a small cameo role by my friend Craig - you were a wonderful zombie and you die so well). The other movie that really impressed me was Chris' movie at the end of the SMP. It wasn't a comedy and maybe not as entertaining to some other people but I thought that the scipt was phenomenal and it really struck a chord with me. All in all, a great production. Hopefully next year I can become involved as well.
