Spring Break
Hey everyone, I'm home in Montreal and chillaxing. I'll give you a little update from what's been happening since I haven't written in a few days. Friday Lindsay, Leah, and Danielle left to Halifax for the weekend so it was just Craig and I. The floor was absolutely quiet. It was so weird because there was pretty much nobody left on our side of the floor. We took advantage and left our doors open, blasted some music, all in all, a good time had by all. We went to the pub afterwards, and I was able to meet some of his friends. It was pretty quiet, but then again Spring Break had just started so a lot of people went home. We came back and watched a bit of "The Big Lebowski" - now that's a great movie. Dude!!!
I left to Montreal early Saturday morning and almost missed the plane because Sackville cab forgot to write my name down to pick me up at 11:00 but luckily I called them back and I did end up getting there on time. I had quite the meal prepared for me by my mother when I got home. Garlic spare ribs, and a tossed salad with goat cheese toast. Mmmmmmm, I'm drooling just thinking about it. Now if only our cafeteria had food like that...
I got together with my friends Josh, Ryan and his sister Allison and we went to Sharx a bar dowtown that has a really cool little bowling alley in it. Our first game I sucked royally. However I blame that bowling balls because I'm not used to the 15 pounders. Not me though, I'm a good bowler :) I actually won the next game which surprised everybody - don't they know that I was husseling (is that how you spell it?) them.
Sunday was another busy day. I went out for lunch at a great Italian restaurant on Crescent street called "Weinstein and Gavinos". I had Fried calamari, and linguini ala carbonara. One again if only Marriot had good food...
I went to go see "The Count of MonteCristo" and I was not disapointed. I have been looking forward to seeing it for quite some time now and even though I never read the story before it's an awesome revenge story, go see it! If you've ever been burned before, take some tips from the Count.
I later got together with my friend Lynda, had coffee with her and some other people. Then we went to one of her friends apartment for a bit. Man, Lynda has some stories... It was nice to catch up with her since we haven't been able to talk as much as we'd like. Anyways, this long rant will now end. I usually don't write this much on one post but since I hadn't written in a while, I thought I'd catch up. Anways, peace out tout le monde!
